This 86,000SF facility was designed to accommodate 750 students from Pre-K through 5th
grade. The layout of the academic pods radiate from the Media Center. Each pod contains 5
classrooms, teacher workroom, restrooms plus a commons area for small group activities. In
addition to the 36 classrooms are specialty rooms for Art, Science and 2 Computer Labs. The
Media Center, with over 16,000 books, also provides internet technology, A/V equipment and a
high skylight ceiling. Just outside the library are courtyards for quiet outdoor learning. Separate
from the quiet academics are the active Dining Room, Gymnasium and Stage. Adjacent to the
Stage is the Music room.
The exterior of the school has the warmth of brick while the front entry accent is playful and
vibrant like a child’s toy. The interiors are colorful with materials chosen for durability and ease
of maintenance.
Although the 7 acre site is relatively small, it includes a soccer field, covered basketball court,
numerous playscapes, and a neighborhood SPARK. Separate bus and car access provide
added safety and reduce traffic during peak drop-off / pick-up times.
